Webinar serie PREFORMA project

Het Europese PREFORMA project (PREservation FORMAts for culture information/e-archives, zie http://www.preforma-project.eu/) organiseert een aantal webinars over de drie zogenaamde 'conformance checkers' die in het project worden ontwikkeld. Dat zijn (open source) software tools waarmee de validiteit van een aantal veelgebruikte formaten (TIFF, PDF/A, Matroska) kan worden gecontroleerd.

We are organising a webinar series with the PREFORMA project during September 2016. Each webinar will focus on one of the three open source conformance checkers for TIFF; Matroska, FFV1, & PCM, and PDF/A:

• Thursday 8 September 15:00 CET: DPF Manager

• Thursday 15 September 15:00 CET: MediaConch

• Thursday 22 September 15:00 CET: veraPDF

There are 50 places for each webinar, allocated on a first come, first served basis. To register for the webinars visit: http://preforma-webinars.eventbrite.co.uk/.

The webinars will last approximately one hour and will be recorded for those who cannot attend live.
