Call for papers iPRES 2026 (deadline = the 9th of March)

The iPRES 2026 Organising Committee is pleased to announce the Call for Contributions for iPRES 2026, the 22nd International Conference on Digital Preservation.

The conference will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 21 25 September 2026, and will offer both in-person and virtual participation options. iPRES 2026 warmly welcomes contributions from researchers, practitioners, and organisations worldwide engaged in digital preservation.

This year's conference themes Community, Preservation, and Horizon invite reflections on the evolving practices, innovations, and collaborations shaping the future of digital preservation. More details about the themes and example topics can be found on the conference website:

The submission deadline is March 9, 2026 (End of Day, Anywhere on Earth).

Additional calls for ad-hoc contributions such as Lightning Talks, Birds of a Feather sessions, Games, and the Digital Preservation Bake-Off will be shared around May 2026.
