Keynote: Dr. Ismail Serageldin

Dr. Ismail Serageldin (1944 Giza, Egypt) is the Founding Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the new Library of Alexandria. He was inaugurated in 2002 and is currently Emeritus Librarian, and member of the Board of Trustees of the Library. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina aspires to be a Leading Library of the Digital Age and hosts, among many other things, a copy of The Internet Archive.

De keynote heeft als titel "Archives for Tomorrow" en zelf schrijft hij er het volgende over:
